After qualifying as a Registered Adult Nurse in 2009, Chrissie worked on the surgical wards and emergency department for several years; developing an interest in skin and wound care. She worked as a Specialist Nurse for a private wound care company and within a Harley Street based aesthetics clinic before launching The Medical Skin Clinic Brentwood in 2016. In 2018 the Newmarket branch was launched and has expanded to offer a range of dermatology and aesthetic services. Chrissie specialises in non-surgical face lifts and is passionate about delivering natural looking results that make you feel great.

DR HINA KHAN

Consultant Neurologist

Dr Hina Khan is a British Consultant Neurologist with extensive training and experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of neurological conditions, including headaches, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and neurodegenerative disorders. She has a sub-specialist interest in Cognitive Neurology, including Young-Onset Dementia, and is a member of the Association of British Neurologists’ Cognitive Neurology Special Interest Group.
Dr Khan is known for her patient-centred approach, combining clear communication with personalised treatment plans. She is committed to ongoing professional development and staying at the forefront of medical advancements to ensure her patients receive the most up-to-date and effective care.

DR ABBAS AL-SHAMMARI

Consultant Dermatologist

Dr. Al-Shammari is a Consultant Dermatologist and Lead for Skin Cancer and Dermatology Audit Projects at West Suffolk Hospital, Bury St Edmunds. Since completing his specialist training in 2000, he has built broad expertise in inflammatory skin conditions, neoplastic skin diseases, and dermatological surgery across multiple countries.

He has published research in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Journal of Dermatopathology, and is actively involved in teaching Cambridge University medical students, trainees, and clinical staff. Dr. Al-Shammari is a member of the British Association of Dermatologists and a former Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
