WHAT IS INTRALIPOTHERAPY?
Intralipotherapy (AKA Fat dissolving injections, lipolysis or lipotherapy) is a treatment that uses a formulation called sodium deoxycolate to actively break down lipids (fats) under the skin, allowing your body to excrete it naturally as you would dietary fats. Intralipotherapy can be used in a multitude of areas of the face and body; most commonly the double chin, abdomen, and thighs.
Results are permanent if no further weight is gained and it is an excellent treatment for those stubborn areas that diet and exercise just wont budge.

At The Medical Skin Clinic we use DesoFace and DesoBody for our intralipotherapy treatments. These products offer minimal downtime and maximum results with final results usually seen in as little as 1-3 treatment sessions.
HOW DOES INTRALIPOTHERAPY WORK
DESTROYS FAT
DesoBody is a fat dissolving injection, also known as lipolytic injection, which destroys fat cells by damaging the fat cell membrane and liquifying the fat in the treatment area. The destroyed fat cells are then broken down and removed naturally through the body’s lymphatic system
LASTS
DesoBody and DesoFace destroy and remove the fat cells in the treated area. If weight is maintained, fat cells do not return to this site and therefore results are permanent. Lipolysis is not an alternative to exercise and healthy diet but can be used to banish those stubborn areas.
