WHAT TO EXPECT

All of our staff are registered Healthcare Professionals who have undertaken extensive training in medical aesthetics. When you have a consultation with us, you can expect the same care, professionalism and honesty you would expect in any excellent healthcare setting.

Our consultations are:

· Honest - we will tell you what you do and don't need.

· Accommodating - we understand if you have a budget and will offer a variety to options to consider to achieve your goal where possible.

· Ethical - we believe in ethical practice and will only make suggestions that we believe are in your best interests.

· Free - we won't charge for our advice and you are under no obligation to proceed with treatment.

WHAT TO EXPECT

BOOK

Call our friendly reception team who will do their best to find you the perfect appointment time. 

You will be sent some forms to complete ahead of the appointment including an infection control form to help to keep you and our staff safe.

ATTEND

Your Doctor or Nurse Prescriber will see you in clinic to review your suitability for treatment, discuss your goals and assess your needs.

They will recommend treatment options for you and discuss risks, possible side effects, aftercare and costs; with plenty of time for any questions you may have.

CONSIDER

There is no pressure to proceed with our recommendations and we always suggest that you research and consider treatments carefully before proceeding.

For those who wish to have treatment on the day; this is an option for some procedures. Alternatively you can book in with us, if and when you feel ready to do so.

WHAT NEXT?

PREPARE

With your procedure booked, you can get ready for the procedure. Please ensure all forms that are received, are completed and returned. Avoid alcohol and any drugs that thin the blood (unless prescribed, in which case consult with the clinic) for 48 hours before the procedure. This includes but not limited to Aspirin, Ibuprofen and Naproxen. Arrive to the clinic at the time of your appointment, with no make-up, cream or other cosmetics on your skin.

RELAX

Your Doctor or Nurse Prescriber will take photographs and sign a consent form with you on the day of the procedure. Please ask any questions you may have.

You may require a topical numbing cream to be applied to your skin before the procedure. Whilst this is working, your Doctor or Nurse will be getting things ready. 

Your procedure will be performed with the greatest of care and attention. Feel free to clarify any thing with our staff and ask for a break if you wish to. Many of our patients comment that they are pleasantly surprised by how quick and comfortable our procedures are.

TAKE CARE

Many of our procedures allow for you to return to normal activities the same day but all will require some aftercare. This will be discussed with you and is available in your patient information leaflet. If you wish to take some time off work or have a special event in mind, please do discuss with our team.

Please do be mindful of the aftercare. With effectively aftercare; our complication rates are extremely low.
